Armed Security Officer

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Officer to uphold safety and security across our premises. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including perimeter checks and interior inspections, to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems continuously to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior or security breaches.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Enforce access control protocols by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense scenarios effectively.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities, security breaches, or unusual occurrences for record-keeping and future reference.
• Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations when necessary, ensuring immediate assistance until professional help arrives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications such as law enforcement training or military background are advantageous.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of security procedures, access control protocols, and emergency response plans.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
