Armed Security Officer-Monitring

Job Overview

As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Your role will involve using your training and skills to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.

Duties

• Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure security
• Investigate disturbances
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations
• Provide assistance to people in need
• Follow emergency response procedures

Skills

• Knowledge of surveillance techniques and procedures
• Understanding of CCTV systems
• Experience in loss prevention techniques
• Ability to handle firearms safely and effectively
• Strong conflict management skills
• Military or law enforcement background is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour
