About the Role

MD SCHOOL MANKROLA, GURUGRAM is seeking a creative Art & Craft Teacher who will also manage our social media presence—blending hands-on classroom teaching with content creation and basic analytics.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching – Art & Craft (≈70%)

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Grades [insert range], aligned to curriculum outcomes.
• Teach techniques: drawing, painting, collage, clay, papier-mâché, textiles, upcycling, etc.
• Design projects, rubrics, and assessments; maintain student portfolios.
• Manage materials/inventory/budget; run a safe, tidy studio with strong routines.
• Curate displays/exhibitions; collaborate for cross-curricular projects and events.
• Run clubs, competition prep, and campus décor for festivals/events.
• Follow child-safeguarding standards and obtain consent for using student images/artwork.

Social Media Management (≈30%)

• Own the monthly content calendar (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube/Shorts, LinkedIn).
• Capture/edit photos, videos, reels; write on-brand captions and stories.
• Provide timely event coverage and coordinate internal approvals.
• Monitor comments/DMs; route enquiries to Admissions/Front Office.
• Track performance (reach, engagement, follower growth) and share monthly reports.
• Ensure compliance with consent, privacy, and brand guidelines.

Must-Haves

• Bachelor’s in Fine/Visual Arts (BFA) or equivalent; B.Ed. preferred for K–12.
• 1–3+ years’ teaching experience in schools/studios.
• Strong portfolio of personal and student work.
• Skills in smartphone photo/video, basic editing (CapCut/Adobe Premiere Rush), and design tools (Canva/Adobe Express).
• Excellent English; Hindi proficiency preferred.
• Flexibility for school events/peak periods.
• Willingness to relocate to Gurugram (on-site role).

Good to Have

• Experience with exhibitions, inter-school competitions, inclusive art practices.
• Familiarity with Instagram Insights/Facebook Page metrics.
• Workshops/certifications in art education or digital media.

KPIs (Guidance)

• Teaching: project completion & quality, rubric outcomes, classroom environment & safety, displays.
• Social: 12–16 posts/month (incl. 4–6 reels), consistent event stories, engagement rate & steady follower growth, on-time monthly report.

Working Hours & Reporting

• 6-day school week (standard K–12); event days as required.
• Reports to: Academic Coordinator (Teaching) and Marketing/Admissions Lead (Social).
