Art Camp Instructor

Job Overview:
StillyArts is looking for a creative individual with drawing skills. This is a part-time job with growing possibilities and flexible timings. If you are an artist and love working with kids this is a perfect job for you!

Responsibilities:
- Assist the art teacher in teaching students various art techniques and mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media
- Provide guidance and feedback to students on their artwork
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and organized art studio
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into cross-curricular projects
- Organize and participate in art exhibitions or showcases to display student artwork

Skills:
- Previous experience working with students, such as babysitting, daycare, or sports coaching
- Some knowledge and passion for various art forms, including theater, painting, drawing, sculpture, etc.
- Excellent classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment
- Ability to effectively manage student behavior and provide behavioral interventions when necessary
- Familiarity with childhood development principles and techniques
- First aid certification is preferred
