Art & Craft Teacher

Job Summary:

The Art & Craft Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering creative art lessons that encourage students’ imagination, artistic skills, and aesthetic development. The teacher fosters a positive learning environment that promotes creativity, self-expression, and appreciation of art.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging art and craft lessons as per the school curriculum.
• Teach drawing, painting, sketching, clay modeling, paper craft, and other creative techniques.
• Encourage creativity, originality, and independent thinking among students.
• Prepare lesson plans and maintain academic records.
• Organize art exhibitions, competitions, and display boards.
• Guide students in preparing art projects for school events and competitions.
• Maintain discipline and ensure safety during practical sessions.
• Manage and maintain art materials, tools, and supplies.
• Assess and evaluate students’ practical work and progress.
• Participate in school events, celebrations, and co-curricular activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Fine Arts or related field.
• B.Ed. (preferred).
• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience (school experience preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
