Art Director/Graphic Designer

We are seeking a seasoned Graphic Designer and Art Director with a strong editorial background to lead the visual direction and layout design for multiple high-end magazines. You’ll be at the forefront of crafting memorable reader experiences, ensuring each publication is visually compelling and on-brand.

What You’ll Do:

• Own the creative layout and design of multiple publications across print and digital platforms.
• Design eye-catching visuals and ad layouts optimized for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Collaborate with editors, writers, photographers, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive storytelling through design.
• Set and uphold visual standards for each title and brand, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Oversee and manage project timelines to meet publishing and campaign deadlines.
• Stay ahead of design and social media trends to keep our titles fresh, dynamic, and competitive.
• Design compelling multi-media ads for existing and new advertiser clients.
• Gather ad design materials and ad direction from clients, from ad ideation to client approval.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of professional experience in editorial or magazine design.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and the full Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proven experience designing for both print and digital media.
• A strong portfolio showcasing sophisticated magazine design, layout mastery, and creative direction.
• Exceptional attention to detail and an eye for typography, color, and composition.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with digital publishing platforms (e.g., Issuu, Mag+).
• Familiarity with branding and marketing collateral design.
• Web design background in current languages\platforms.
