Art Instructor for Kids & Teens

About Us:
Studio ArtHaus is a creative art studio in Carmel Mountain/Poway where kids and teens explore drawing, painting, ceramics, and mixed media in a relaxed, supportive setting. We emphasize creativity, skill-building, and community over perfection — and we’re looking for team members who share the same passion for arts education.

Position: Full - Time Art Instructor
We’re looking for a talented and passionate Art Instructor to join our team, primarily working with kids and teens in our fine art, illustration, and portfolio-focused classes. You’ll help create a warm, supportive environment where students feel confident experimenting, making mistakes, and growing as artists. Experience with digital art (Procreate/iPad) is a plus, but not required.

- Follow and adapt Studio lesson plans to different ages and skill levels.
- Help with basic studio setup, organization, and clean-up before and after classes.
- Communicate with parents at drop-off and pick-up in a warm, professional manner.

*Proficiency in both realistic and imaginative drawing and painting.
*Excellent communication skills and customer service acumen.
*Able to manage a classroom with patience, positivity, and good boundaries.
*Willingness to learn and implement our teaching methodology and curriculum.
*Reliable transportation, punctual, and dependable.
*Must be able to pass a background check and be authorized to work in the U.S.
