Job description:

JOB SUMMARY:

• Receive requests and provide proofs to sales team members/clients
• Produce layouts for client orders to ensure that all art submitted is appropriate for production and accurate to what the client desires

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

• Attention to detail
• Strong creative skills
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficiency in embroidery software preferred but not required
• Knowledge of graphic design principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in progress
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Willingness to collaborate with others

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce art layouts from client-supplied artwork/files/drawings/etc.
• Provide proofs for sales/customer service teams
• Adjust or rebuild client files as needed for print compatibility (bleeds, color profiles, vector setup, etc.)
• Meet Art Department work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards
• Maintain a clean workstation/environment
• Perform other duties as needed or required by supervisor or manager
• Flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed or required
• Support production team in requests for differing setups for CNC cutting and/or digital printing
• Help resolve problems with cut files or print files
• Perform mathematical calculations to ensure product waste is at a minimum
• Maintain a Lean Manufacturing environment
• May be asked to learn the operations of digital printing

BONUS POINTS (NOT REQUIRED)

• Experience installing vinyl graphics, wall decals, or vehicle lettering
• Comfortable with on-site installation work (vehicle wraps, door/window decals, etc.)
• Basic understanding of surface prep, alignment, and application techniques
