About the Role
The Art Teacher will be responsible for:
•
Planning and delivering lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
•
Encouraging students to explore a variety of artistic techniques, media, and styles.
•
Supporting students in developing critical appreciation of art, both historical and contemporary.
•
Preparing students for examinations and assessments, ensuring progress is monitored effectively.
•
Organising and contributing to exhibitions, showcases, and creative school events.
•
Collaborating with colleagues across departments to strengthen the school s arts programme.
What We re Looking For
•
A degree in Art, Fine Arts, or a closely related subject.
•
Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., QTS or equivalent).
•
At least two years of classroom teaching experience, ideally in a British or international school.
•
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to bring energy and innovation to the classroom.
•
A commitment to supporting students of all abilities in achieving their potential.
•
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
