SouthWest Metro Intermediate District #288 has a Long Term Substitute opening for an Art Teacher fom approximately 2/9/2026-5/29/2026 at the 401 Education Center in Chaska, MN.

Description:
This position is full-time; 8 hours per day and 185 Contract Days per year.

Job Summary:
Provide instruction in the content area. Responsibilities include lesson planning and instruction, conducting ongoing assessment, monitoring student attendance, collaborating with other staff, and keeping student records.

Qualifications:

• Minnesota Teaching License in Visual Arts
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to build successful relationships with students and staff.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams.
• Experience working with multicultural populations and English language learners preferred.

Pay & Benefits:
