Responsibilities

- Create inclusive lesson plans that incorporate childhood development principles and adapt to students with disabilities or special needs.
- Manage classroom environments effectively, ensuring safety, positive behavior, and active engagement through strong classroom management techniques.
- Incorporate various learning technologies and digital tools to enhance artistic instruction and foster creativity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art activities with literacy education, math concepts, and other core subjects for holistic learning experiences.
- Support standardized testing preparation related to arts assessments and provide tutoring or additional assistance as needed for individual students.
Requirements
- Proven classroom experience with a strong background in teaching art or related subjects such as literacy, math, or general education.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development and lesson planning for diverse learners, including children with disabilities.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and learning technology tools used in modern educational settings.
- Experience working with children in various environments such as private schools or Montessori settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management strategies, and classroom management best practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues while fostering a positive learning environment.
