Art/Graphic Design Teacher - Part Time

Summit Christian Academy is seeking a highly qualified and spiritually grounded Art/Graphic Design Teacher (part-time). We are looking for someone who brings both academic expertise and a biblical worldview to the classroom. The ideal candidate will be excited to mentor students in both their intellectual development and their faith journeys, and contribute positively to school culture through collaboration and participation in school events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the educational needs of students in grades 7-12, ensuring alignment with the school's Christian values and academic standards.
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Master's degree preferred.

Required Experience:

• Experience teaching at a secondary school level, preferably within grades 7-12
• Previous experience working in a faith-based educational environment is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to integrate Christian values into teaching and curriculum

• Strong understanding of educational best practices for secondary education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff
