MPP Specialist – Multiphase Pump Operations
We are looking for skilled MPP Specialists to support the
mobilization, installation, operation, and troubleshooting of Multiphase Pump
(MPP) systems in the field. This role is essential to ensure the reliable
handling of multiphase flow during early production, well testing, or
production enhancement campaigns.
Install, operate, and maintain MPP/HPS systems in
coordination with VSD operators and field personnel. Oversee pump startup, shutdown, and performance optimization
based on well conditions and flow behavior. Monitor pump performance parameters including pressure,
temperature, vibration, and flow rate. Perform routine checks, diagnostics, and preventative
maintenance on MPP equipment. Support commissioning and integration of MPP/HPS systems with
surface process equipment and instrumentation. Ensure proper alignment, lubrication, and mechanical
integrity of pump and associated components. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, or
operational issues in a timely manner. Comply with safety procedures related to rotating equipment
and pressurized systems. Document operational data, prepare shift logs, and assist
with performance reporting. Qualifications & Experience:
Technical Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, or
Production Engineering (or related field). Minimum 2 to 3 years experience working with Multiphase
Pumps, preferably in well testing, early production facilities, or artificial
lift operations. Strong understanding of pump mechanics, fluid handling, and
multiphase flow dynamics. Familiarity with MPP systems from leading vendors (e.g.,
Reda, Tuymen, Leistritz, Sulzer, Bornemann, etc.) is a plus. Experience working in field-based operations, including
remote onshore/offshore sites. Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and vendor
documentation.
