Artificial Turf Installer

Playrite is a locally owned company that installs the highest-grade artificial turf in the industry. We have been in business for 30 yrs. and have been installing turf for 20 yrs. We specialize in putting greens, lawns, playgrounds, pet areas and athletics.

The job entails frequently handling materials that are 50lbs+, manual outdoor labor and close attention to detail. Experience in turf is excellent, but not a requirement.

You will have the opportunity to learn and execute proper turf installation with our on-the-job training techniques while utilizing equipment, power tools, machinery and hand tools allowing you to carry out installations and proper handling of all materials.

You will be expected to interact with a project manager and teammates for instructions on how to create amazing spaces for our clients. We require excellent attendance, a valid driver's license, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well with others and independently.

Requirements for this position:

General labor experience, landscape experience, or construction background preferred. Pay will be determined by experience.

• Knowledge of and ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate small track machines, mini skids, etc.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for duration of shift.
• Ability to squat, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and reach.
• Ability to perform under tight deadlines.
• Time management & organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: up to 40 per week.
