About the Role:

The Hermann Wurst Haus is looking for a Are you a skilled cutter looking to elevate your craft, or a passionate food lover eager to learn a traditional trade? The Hermann Wurst Haus is an award-winning destination, and we are looking for a dedicated Butcher & Artisan Meat Processor to help us craft our world-class, "Best of Show" sausages, bacons, and jerkies.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: 1+ years of meat cutting, commercial kitchen, or processing experience is preferred, but not required. If you have high-level knife skills from a culinary background, we can teach you the rest.
• Physical Stamina: This is a physically demanding role. You must be able to stand for long periods, work in a chilled environment (production room), and comfortably lift 50–75 lbs regularly.
• Attention to Detail: Precision matters. Following exact spice weights and smoking logs is what keeps our products award-winning.
• Reliability: We operate as a tight-knit family business. When you show up on time, the whole team wins.
• Proximity: Ideally living within 30–50 miles of Hermann, MO.
