Artist Studio winter/spring Intern

A Contemporary artist seeks a motivated intern with interest in archival work. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is detail-oriented and is interested in gaining hands-on work experience in a studio with a multi-medium artist.

The internship position includes the following responsibilities:

-Must know (or easily know)how to scan on an Epson Perfection V750 PRO

- Lead the digitalization and organization of archival images

- Updating inventory and database

- Organizing the artist’s materials including images, bios, and press files

- Search for Grants

- Assist with grant and residency program application

- Assist with other responsibilities related to the studio

- Candidates should be highly organized, have the ability to multi-task and complete work in a timely and efficient manner -

- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Some interest in AI +

- The applicant should have a background or interest in art history, contemporary art, arts administration, or a related field.

- Architecture students are welcome to work on public projects.

-School or work-study credit can be arranged.

-Knowing graphic design is a plus

-Knowledge of doing marketing in social media

A stipend for transport and lunch will also be provided. Days and hours of internship are flexible.

Her work includes sculpture, videos, installations, photography, public art, painting and portable art/jewelry.
