Ready to Change Lives and Love Your Work? Join the Nation’s Leading Arts Therapy Program for Teens
When Maya came to us, she was 15 and barely speaking. Shut down by depression, isolated and withdrawn, and engaging in self harming behaviors, she carried deep pain and no sense of how to safely express it. Outpatient therapy, hospitalizations, family interventions hadn't been able to pull her out of this dark space. Slowly, through the safety of Maya's relationship with her therapist at La Europa, making new friends and finally laughing again, and the expressive culture at La Europa, she began to write lyrics. Then melodies. Then finding the tune on her guitar. Then one day, she performed a song she had written—her voice trembling but clear. In that moment, she wasn’t just surviving—she was healing.
At La Europa Academy, this is the kind of transformation we witness every day. If you’re a heart-centered therapist who believes in the healing power of creativity and connection—this is where your work can truly matter.
