Role:
Art and Craft Teacher
Role Definition:Responsible for delivering visual arts education in accordance with CBSE curriculum standards, focusing on developing students’ creativity, artistic skills, aesthetic appreciation, and integration of art with other subjects as recommended in CBSE Art-Integrated Learning guidelines, to ensure holistic artistic development and meaningful art-integrated learning experiences for students.
Qualification Requirement (CBSE/NCTE-aligned):
- Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) / Master of Fine Arts (MFA) / Diploma in Visual Arts or equivalent recognized qualification.
Task & Activities:
- Teach visual arts, craft, design, and creative expression activities across assigned grades.
- Prepare lesson plans and art modules aligned with CBSE Art Education and Art-Integrated Learning framework.
- Guide students in drawing, painting, sculpture, craftwork, and model making.
- Organize exhibitions, displays, competitions, and student artwork showcases.
- Maintain the art room, materials inventory, and safe usage of supplies.
- Support events, school functions, and stage decoration when required.
- Encourage participation in inter-school and state-level art competitions.
- Maintain student portfolios and evaluate artistic progress as per CBSE guidelines.
- Actively support and motivate students for cultural events, annual programs, and creative school-wide activities.
- Participate in creative arts workshops and CBSE art-integrated learning training to refine artistic and instructional techniques
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
