Our client Roots International Schools is looking for a Arts Teacher in Islamabad

The Arts Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging art lessons that foster creativity, self-expression, and artistic skills among students. The role involves teaching various art forms, encouraging appreciation for visual arts, and creating a positive learning environment that supports students' artistic development.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver art lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
• Teach students fundamental and advanced art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, crafts, and mixed media.
• Encourage creativity, imagination, and critical thinking through artistic activities.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records.
• Organize and supervise art projects, exhibitions, competitions, and school events.
• Maintain art supplies, equipment, and classroom resources in an organized and safe manner.
• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes student participation and confidence.
• Integrate art history, cultural awareness, and contemporary artistic practices into lessons.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support student development.
• Ensure compliance with school policies, health and safety regulations, and safeguarding requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
• Additional certifications or training in arts education are advantageous.
  
  

Experience

• 1–3 years of teaching experience in art education (preferred).
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
• Experience organizing art exhibitions, competitions, or extracurricular activities is a plus.
