Location: Evansville, Indiana
Start Date: As Soon As Possible
Compensation: $22–$24/hour
Schedule: Approximately 35–40 guaranteed hours per week, consisting of 3 full days and 2 half days
Additional Availability: One weekend per month with advance notice
Child: One bright and engaging 2-year-old girl

About the Family

A busy professional family is seeking a warm, experienced, and highly engaged nanny to provide loving, long-term care for their two-year-old daughter. Both parents work in the medical field and are looking for a nanny who can become a valued and consistent part of their family's support system.

The family places a strong emphasis on learning, development, and meaningful engagement. They are seeking someone who enjoys being actively involved throughout the day and who is passionate about helping young children learn, explore, and thrive.

There are no pets and no pool at the home.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally focused care
• Read with the child daily and foster a love of books and learning
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate educational and developmental activities
• Encourage active play, exploration, and social development
• Take the child to the library, classes, outings, and community activities
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks
• Assist with bathing and maintaining established routines
• Transport the child safely to activities and appointments as needed
• Keep play areas and child-related spaces organized and tidy
• Complete the child's laundry

A background in education, teaching, child development, or early childhood education is strongly preferred. Fully vaccinated candidates are preferred. The family welcomes applicants from all language and cultural backgrounds.

The family would love to have some overlap with their current nanny to help ensure a smooth and successful transition for everyone involved.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
