Asbury Park - Human Resources Assistant

We are looking for a candidate who works well independently and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The pay for this full-time position is $23.07 to $28.00 per hour.

As a Human Resources Assistant, you will be responsible for

coordinating with the Human Resources Generalist and/or Human Resources

Director, including assisting with the activities of the Human Resources department

Department, collaborating with business leaders regarding policy, partnership,

and assisting NFC team members. The

HR Assistant is the main contact for employee intakes and unemployment for the entire company.


Duties & Responsibilities:
(including but not limited to the following):

  • Main contact point for all employee HR Intakes.
  • Answer the corporate direct phone line in a friendly, professional, and positive manner.
  • Investigate and document employee complaints or grievances completely and in a timely manner, and research each inquiry to both the team and management.
  • Monitor and/or follow up on the implementation of a performance improvement process.
  • Assist and advise all Company employees on HR policy, practice, procedure, and issues, when needed.
  • Maintain and organize all HR Department confidential files on the NFC internal drive and ADP simultaneously, and keep an organized record of all communications had with employees and management.
  • Build strong positive relationships and credibility across all levels of business management

and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.

  • Assist in actively managing workers' compensation reporting.
  • Synthesize insights and observations from SHRM and other HR sources to identify improvement areas in HR processes and propose solutions for addressing them, when needed.
  • Manage all aspects of unemployment.
  • Responsible for the coordination and maintenance of mandated state retirement programs/plans.
  • Process employment verifications.
  • Enter wage garnishments.
  • Upload all personnel documents into ADP employee files.
  • Monthly/Quarterly pay data reporting for government agencies.
  • Gather time records for required audits.
  • Assist as needed with other HR department-related tasks and special projects as assigned.


This position is remote with meeting requirements in the office. Nothing in this job description restricts NFC Amenity Management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this position at any time.
