The Materials Manager is responsible for ordering, monitoring, and receiving supplies and equipment for the facility. The Materials Manager is also responsible for managing and coordinating activities of personnel in their specified area(s) according to the policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the facility while planning work of assigned areas and coordinating activities with other areas by evaluating care and performance of department staff and ensuring patient needs are met.

Education and Experience:

  • Must have prior Materials Management experience or a Surgical Technologist with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience, preferably in an orthopedic ASC or leadership role.
  • Must be BLS Certified within six (6) months of hire and maintain certification throughout employment.
  • Must have strong leadership and language skills. Must be able to provide high-level written, interpersonal, and telephone communication in American English.
  • Must have prior training or courses in Material’s Management.
