Job description:
We are looking for an ASO (Android) Intern to join our marketing team. This role offers a great opportunity to learn and contribute to improving the visibility, ranking, and conversion rate of our mobile games on the Google Play Store. The internship provides hands-on experience in Android app optimization, user acquisition strategies, and performance tracking, with the potential to grow into a permanent role.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing Google Play Store ASO strategies.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market trend studies for Android apps.
- Support in optimizing app titles, short descriptions, long descriptions, and metadata for improved rankings.
- Collaborate with the design team to optimize app screenshots, feature graphics, icons, and promo videos to increase conversion rates.
- Monitor app ratings, reviews, installs, and performance metrics; prepare regular reports.
- Suggest innovative ideas to enhance app discoverability on the Google Play Store.
- Stay updated with the latest Android app marketing trends and ASO best practices.
Requirements:
- Education: Recent graduates of BBA (Marketing), BSIT, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of ASO concepts and Google Play Store policies/guidelines.
- Familiarity with Android apps, app store mechanics, and digital marketing concepts.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of ASO tools (e.g., AppTweak, KeywordTool, Sensor Tower, etc.) is a plus.
- A quick learner with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
