Asphalt Screed Operator

• Operator the Screed/Paver Augers and feed to regulate material flow
• Signal machine operator for starts and stops
• Check and ensure distribution of material is uniform
• Turns handwheels “Screws” to modify angle and depth of screed
• Utilize depth gauge to verify depth on compacted asphalt
• Conduct daily maintenance
• Keep Safe work environment
• Must be able to work as a team player
• Performs other duties as directed by supervisor

Skills Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience:

• Capable of wearing a hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
• Ability to work in a team setting
• High School Diploma/GED (Preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crawling, climbing, and lifting items up to 50+ pounds
• Should be available to work overtime during peak season
