We are looking for an experienced Level 1B Asphalt Technician to join our team. Technician will be responsible for ensuring that the pavement meets the required compaction/specs and industry standards. Equipment provided includes impedance gauge, core drill, balance/scale station and hand tools. The technician will be establishing rolling patters, taking cores as needed, weighing them at our office, writing reports, and communicating with the team in a timely manner. This position requires an individual capable of working alone, in a safe and independent role.

Other responsibilities:

• Valid drivers license.
• Alcohol and drug free.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed.
• Operate construction and industrial machinery is a plus
• Understand safety rules.
• Familiarize with OSHA regulations.
• Plan daily activities.
• Learn how to use new equipment.
• Perform daily inspections on equipment as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
