ASP.net Architect

Duration: 12 months+

Key Responsibilities:

• Define solution architectures using .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Architect secure, high-performing, and resilient systems.
• Design system integration strategies across applications and data platforms.
• Lead technical design sessions and workshops with stakeholders.
• Guide development teams in coding standards, design best practices, and performance tuning.
• Review code, database schemas, and solution blueprints for quality assurance.
• Drive modernization of legacy applications into microservices and cloud-native architectures.
• Lead migration strategies from on-prem SQL Server to Azure SQL / Managed Instances.
• Implement DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring).
• Partner with business analysts, project managers, and product owners to deliver aligned solutions.
• Establish governance for architecture standards and reusable frameworks.
• Mentor junior engineers and architects.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Solution Architect role.
• Strong expertise in:
• .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API)
• SQL Server (T-SQL, indexing, optimization, partitioning, high availability)
• Entity Framework, LINQ, ADO.NET
• Azure Services (App Services, Azure SQL, Service Bus, API Management, AKS)
• Strong grasp of security principles

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
