ASP.NET Developer (with 5-6 years of experience)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently looking for a passionate, talented and experienced ASP.NET Developer with a minimum 5-6 years of experience in building and supporting complex customer-facing web application in ASP.NET. Candidate needs to know core web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, Angular JS, etc.) and will be able to show examples of sophisticated solutions they have developed.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage, maintain, and extend highly scalable enterprise web applications.

2. Develop, test and debug develop-ed code.

3. Design, develop and support API configurations.

4. Understand technical and functional design requirements

5. Do proper documentation of the program and add technical requirements in the code.

6. Staying aware of security issues in applications.

7. Database development and management

8. Testing, debugging and troubleshooting when necessary

9. Perform other duties as assigned

10. Brainstorm and collaborate with team members to develop solutions and think on the fly

11. Collaborate with a team of developers to complete proposed initiatives

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

1. An IT/Computer Science degree (or similar) or relevant professional experience in web engineering

2. 5-6 years of work experience with ASP.NET backend development and OOP

3. Very good knowledge and experience in Umbraco CMS platforms.

4. Knowledge and experience in additional technologies such as PHP (Laravel) and Python will be considered an advantage.

5. Passion for "clean code" and quality standards, like SOLID principles and other design patterns

6. You are a quick learner who is comfortable exploring new technologies and confident in making informed decisions.

7. Sound knowledge in IIS server, configuration and set up

8. Strong TSQL knowledge with experience in procedures and routines

KEY SKILLS:

1. Expertise with Umbraco CMS.

2. Presentation Layer experience - HTML, CSS 3, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular.

3. Experience with Web Services and REST API

4. Experience with MSSQL and other databases

5. Experience with git, svn, or other modern version control systems

6. Ability to follow technical specifications and production processes

7. Attention to detail, ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
