Job Summary

HunterLab is seeking a skilled Assembler II to join our Manufacturing Team. In this hands-on role, you'll build high-quality, complex electro-mechanical and optical instruments, troubleshoot and restore equipment, and serve as a technical mentor to junior team members. If you’re an experienced assembler looking to take on a leadership-oriented role in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble precision instruments using schematics, BOMs, and mechanical drawings
  • Solder electrical components and PCBs using both through-hole and surface-mount techniques
  • Troubleshoot, rework, and calibrate assemblies to meet performance standards
  • Inspect, test, and ensure quality of all builds
  • Mentor Assemblers I & II, assist with quality processes, and support process improvements
  • Partner with QA and Engineering teams to implement solutions
  • Maintain documentation and logs, and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of electro-mechanical assembly experience
  • Strong ability to interpret complex technical documents and troubleshoot issues
  • J-STD soldering certification or related technical credentials (preferred)
