Job Description & Responsibilities:
Assembly Line Operator in the Finish area responsible for labeling, final product identification, and visual inspection. This role ensures that trucks and heavy equipment, including aerial lifts, are properly labeled with safety labels and large decals in compliance with regulatory and company standards, maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality prior to final release.
Responsibilities:
- Install safety labels, small and large decals, and identification markings on equipment and trucks according to specifications.
- Ensure proper alignment, positioning, and visual appearance of all labels and decals.
- Apply regulatory and operational signage (warnings, load capacities, instructions).
- Inspect equipment to confirm all required labels and markings are complete and accurate.
- Perform detailed visual inspections to ensure high-quality finishing standards.
- Remove, correct, or replace damaged, misaligned, or incorrect labels.
- Prepare and clean surfaces before and after label application to ensure proper adhesion.
- Use basic tools (squeegees, rulers, cleaning materials) for precise label installation.
- Complete finishing checklists and required documentation.
- Coordinate with quality control and testing teams for final product release.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in labeling, finishing, detailing, or visual inspection in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, especially in alignment, spacing, and visual presentation.
- Ability to follow visual instructions, diagrams, and labeling standards.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and labeling application techniques.
- Understanding of industrial safety standards and PPE use.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to quality work.
