Job Description for Assembly Technician
Job Title: Assembly Technician
Reports to: Assembly Director
Standard Workdays: Monday through Friday
Saturday and Sunday may be added as work level dictates.
Standard Hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Hours are extended when work level dictates additional time.
Position Summary: The assembly technician’s role is to take the ITM manufactured and purchased components and assemble them into the final product. The employee needs to possess skill sets of mechanical and electrical aptitude, attention to detail, patience, and a willingness to learn and take instruction. Employee is encouraged to provide their input on how best a task might be accomplished with final approval by the Assembly Director. Mechanical aptitude will include pneumatics and hydraulics.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Mechanical Assembly:
1. Assemble components as required and per instruction.
2. Use of powered and manual hand tools for accomplishing assigned tasks.
3. Assessment of assembly during the construction process. In the event something does not look correct or fitment is off the issue needs brought to the supervisor’s attention.
Electrical Assembly:
1. Wire equipment and panels in accordance with engineering schematics.
2. Make wiring issues known to area director.
Machining:
1. Operation and knowledge of basic machining skills.

Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
2. Stand for prolonged periods.
3. Ability to sit, kneel, and lay on the floor when required.
Computer Entry:
1. Log in and out of E2 time clock.
2. Inventory entry into E2 production ERP system.
3. Must be able to review assembly level drawing on the computer (will train).
Travel:
1. Travel to customer sites as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
