Assembly Technician

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Assembly Technician, where your mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills will drive the creation of high-quality products. Your expertise in using hand tools, power tools, and operating warehouse equipment will be essential to maintaining smooth workflow and supporting our manufacturing goals. The successful candidate will learn the complete engine remanufacturing process from tear down to installation of new parts.

Duties

  • Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies using hand tools and power tools with precision and attention to detail
  • Follow detailed work instructions and assembly procedures to ensure consistency and quality in every product
  • Conduct quality checks during assembly processes to identify defects or inconsistencies early
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on the assembly line
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and troubleshoot assembly issues promptly
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking parts usage and reporting shortages or discrepancies

The process includes:

All aspects of engine Remanufacturing such as disassembly, Inspection, cleaning, reconditioning and assembly. This is not an assembly line. You will work at your own station on one engine at a time. This is a rewarding job and you will gain valuable knowledge and skills. Work will include Inspection of parts, use of precise measuring devices, reading plans and specifications, and use of precision assembly tools. We are looking for quality minded individuals.

No prior knowledge is required; however pay is commensurate with experience. Prior knowledge of the proper use of hand tools, impact tools, torque wrenches, feeler gauges, and rebuilding related machines is helpful but not required. You will develop valuable critical skills. You will be an important addition to the company. Your skills and critical thinking will be expected to increase efficiency and in turn increase your value and pay.

The ideal candidate should possess the ability to work in our clean, fully Air conditioned production area. The work will require Standing, walking, limited step stool climbing , lifting components and assemblies up to 60 lbs. All tools and training are provided. You will work in a air conditioned production environment with environmentally responsible products. You will be responsible for a quality product and throughput.

This work is paid as a Contract Labor. This means you will receive a 1099. You will be paid weekly and at an hourly rate. We accept full and part time workers and you are your own boss.

- Assemble components according to specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet standards
- Fabricate and modify parts as needed
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

```Qualifications```
- No experience required Previous experience in assembly or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of machining processes and automotive repair is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Requirements

  • Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience, preferably in an assembly line setting
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings or schematics
  • Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical tasks
  • Warehouse experience including forklift operation certification is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with manufacturing safety protocols and ability to adhere strictly to safety guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent manual dexterity
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and work in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
