Responsibilities
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide composite fabrication and assembly processes
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to ensure components meet exact specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment safely and efficiently during fabrication, assembly, and finishing tasks
- Prepare composite materials by cutting, sanding, drilling, and shaping using appropriate tools and techniques
- Perform welding and soldering tasks when necessary to secure components or repair parts in accordance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and process records
- Assist with warehouse operations by handling materials with forklift or other equipment as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience with manufacturing processes involving composite materials, fabrication, or assembly
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools safely and effectively
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately for precise fabrication work
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus
- Knowledge of soldering techniques and welding standards is desirable
- Comfortable working with various manufacturing environments while maintaining safety protocols
