Assembly Technician

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide composite fabrication and assembly processes
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to ensure components meet exact specifications
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment safely and efficiently during fabrication, assembly, and finishing tasks
• Prepare composite materials by cutting, sanding, drilling, and shaping using appropriate tools and techniques
• Perform welding and soldering tasks when necessary to secure components or repair parts in accordance with safety standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and process records
• Assist with warehouse operations by handling materials with forklift or other equipment as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience with manufacturing processes involving composite materials, fabrication, or assembly
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools safely and effectively
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately for precise fabrication work
• Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus
• Knowledge of soldering techniques and welding standards is desirable
• Comfortable working with various manufacturing environments while maintaining safety protocols

Pay: $20.00 - $22.77 per hour
