Job Summary: We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assembly Technician to join our energetic team. Ideal candidates take initiative, value teamwork, and are eager to develop a wide range of hands-on skills. The Assembly Technician will be responsible for various aspects of product assembly and configuration, including hands-on technical work, installing basic hardware and electrical components, and moving product development in a forward direction. You will be paired with our current team of technicians.

In this role you will learn a wide range of skills such as how products are manufactured and tested, learn to properly use a wide variety of hand and power tools, and understand the basics of how our products function and their importance in our industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow in-depth assembly directions and meet production deadlines
  • Product assembly (building, configuration, installation, modification) using hand or power tools and various materials (wood, fabric, conductive tape, etc.)
  • Install basic hardware components such as cables, power supplies, and LED lights
  • Test materials, fittings, and hardware
  • Find solutions to make product construction/assembly more efficient
  • Maintain order and organization in the facility
  • Meet regularly with development team to discuss progress
  • Request supplies as needed

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, the employee may be assigned other tasks, duties, or projects as directed by management. These assignments may support the company’s broader goals, enhance team efficiency, or respond to evolving business needs. The scope of the role may adapt over time to reflect changes in operations or market conditions.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to move in and about a fast paced warehouse environment using proper safety guidelines in accordance with the OSHA
  • Ability to follow OSHA safety standards. Training will be provided if not already certified.
  • Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Safely and properly use power tools and hand tools without damaging either tools or products
  • Use precision measuring tools accurately with great attention to detail
  • Use the OSHA approved ladders to reach inaccessible areas to retrieve products and components in a safe manner
  • This role may involve tasks such as kneeling or working in awkward positions for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
  • Work both individually and as part of a team to accomplish daily tasks
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment at all times while assembling products
  • Critically think about assembly process and discuss any bottlenecks with supervisor

Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00/hr depending on experience and qualifications (DOE).

Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm.
