QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Must hold AR RN license or be license eligible.

  • CPR and Handle with Care/Verbal De-escalation offered upon hire. Mandatory certifications.
  • Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with patients, families, visitors and staff.
  • Must be able to work as a team with all staff/coworkers and maintain the ability to treat all patients with respect.

  • We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Assessment & Referral Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team during
  • Night shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • PRN SHIFTS (MONDAY - THURSDAY 11P-7A
  • This vital role involves conducting comprehensive patient assessments, coordinating referrals, and ensuring seamless communication across multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical experience in acute care settings, demonstrating proficiency in patient evaluation, discharge planning, and utilization management. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment, supporting patients through critical transitions and ensuring optimal health outcomes.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven clinical experience in critical care settings such as ICU, Emergency Room, or Level I Trauma Centers with exposure to trauma, infectious disease care, or complex medical cases.
  • Extensive background working within hospital medicine or medical-surgical units with a focus on patient assessment and acute care management.
  • Experience in specialized areas including pediatrics (PICU), geriatrics, behavioral health, or post-acute outpatient clinics is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform diagnostic evaluations, manage case coordination, and execute discharge planning effectively.
  • Familiarity with hospital records systems, medical terminology, HIPAA compliance standards, and utilization management processes.
  • Strong physiology knowledge combined with excellent patient service skills to support diverse patient populations across inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Prior experience working in Level II or Level I Trauma Centers or managed care environments is advantageous for this role. Pay: $33.00 - $45.00 per hour
