It has expanded to work with juveniles and families in the juvenile justice field, families impacted by family conflict and violence, and homeless veterans and their families

Advocate Program, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Domestic Violence (DV) Assessor to provide high-quality assessments and help connect individuals to the services they need to break the cycle of violence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Must be bilingual in English & Spanish
• Experience conducting assessments and using standardized assessment tools.
• Excellent interviewing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and challenging cases.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with technology and remote service delivery.
• Knowledge of intimate partner violence and its impact preferred.

About the Role

As a DV Assessor, you will:

• Conduct a minimum of 30 domestic violence assessments per week.
• Complete psychosocial evaluations using standardized assessment guidelines.
• Administer additional screens as needed and screen out inappropriate referrals.
• Prepare clear and timely reports for the batterer’s intervention program, courts, and probation.
• Provide release of information to relevant agencies and assist with client follow-up.
• Support appointment reminders and work to reduce no-show rates.
• Miscellaneous duties as determined by Program Manager.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
