Advocate Program, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Domestic Violence (DV) Assessor to provide high-quality assessments and help connect individuals to the services they need to break the cycle of violence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Must be bilingual in English & Spanish
- Experience conducting assessments and using standardized assessment tools.
- Excellent interviewing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and challenging cases.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with technology and remote service delivery.
- Knowledge of intimate partner violence and its impact preferred.
About the Role
As a DV Assessor, you will:
- Conduct a minimum of 30 domestic violence assessments per week.
- Complete psychosocial evaluations using standardized assessment guidelines.
- Administer additional screens as needed and screen out inappropriate referrals.
- Prepare clear and timely reports for the batterer’s intervention program, courts, and probation.
- Provide release of information to relevant agencies and assist with client follow-up.
- Support appointment reminders and work to reduce no-show rates.
- Miscellaneous duties as determined by Program Manager.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
