Summary
The Asset & Carrier Specialist supports G3's agricultural logistics operations by managing the
transportation-related assets, equipment, and inventory to ensure they are available, compliant, and in
optimal working condition. This role oversees asset tracking, maintenance coordination, allocation, and
documentation for equipment used in the movement of agricultural commodities, inputs, and bulk
materials. This role is responsible for onboarding new carriers through G3's processes and platforms.
The Specialist plays a key role in maintaining operational readiness during critical seasonal periods,
including field preparation, planting and harvest.

Essential Functions

• Oversees the accuracy and integrity of all asset records to support operational and financial

accountability.

• Provides leadership to dispatch and field teams by ensuring real-time asset visibility and timely

information flow.

• Ensures equipment availability by aligning asset utilization with load volumes, commodity

requirements, and scheduling demands.

• Directs and approves asset transfers across regions to optimize network efficiency and service

levels.

• Manages and controls asset-related transportation costs through strategic planning and

continuous oversight.

• Coordinates and oversees scheduled maintenance activities to ensure asset reliability and

compliance.

• Ensures all assets meet contamination-prevention, washout, and food-grade standards for

sensitive product handling.

• Develops and implements onboarding plans to guide new acquisition carriers through G3’s

processes, standards, and technology platforms.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years logistics, agricultural, accounts payable/receivable, or operations

experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of G3
logistics, agricultural, accounts payable/receivable, or operations experience reflecting increasing
levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency and 7 years of
logistics, agricultural, accounts payable/receivable, or operations experience reflecting increasing
levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency and 6 years of G3
logistics, agricultural, accounts payable/receivable, or operations experience reflecting increasing
levels of responsibility

• Required to travel 20% of the time.
• Candidates for this position must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record. Required

to obtain a California driver’s license or appropriate state driver’s license within 30 days of hire.

• Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint at an intermediate level.
• Familiarity with fleet/asset management software (OTM, Moova, Orbcomm).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• 5 years of logistics experience including experience with a focus on moving agricultural products,

asset/fleet operations, or transportation asset management.

• Solid understanding of our regional geography and the types of equipment we operate.
• Strong communication skills with experience responding to common external and internal

inquiries.
