A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a highly experienced Asset Management Advisor to support a major infrastructure and utilities programme in Qatar.
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and advisory support in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of infrastructure asset management frameworks, systems and organisational capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice on infrastructure asset management and lifecycle management.
- Support the establishment and enhancement of an effective Asset Management function.
- Develop asset management strategies, policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
- Support implementation and improvement of asset management systems aligned with international best practice.
- Advise on lifecycle planning, asset performance, risk, reliability and optimisation.
- Develop asset management KPIs and performance-monitoring frameworks.
- Support organisational change and capability development.
- Work closely with senior client stakeholders, operations teams and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Support continuous improvement of infrastructure operations and maintenance.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- Approximately 30 years of relevant professional experience preferred.
- Significant experience in infrastructure/utilities asset management.
- Strong understanding of ISO 55000 / international asset management principles.
- Experience establishing or transforming asset management functions within major organisations.
- Public-sector, municipal or major utility experience highly desirable.
- Middle East experience advantageous.
- IAM qualification/membership and/or Chartered Engineer status preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management, advisory and change-management capabilities.
