Mid-level role at foreign Real Estate Asset Management Firm
Summary:
As an Asset Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of commercial real estate assets within our U.S. portfolio at the individual‑asset level. You will help drive property performance by developing and implementing leasing and marketing strategies, monitoring market developments, and maintaining strong tenant and broker relationships.
Responsibilities:

Managing day-to-day asset performance, including cash flow, budgets, CAPEX, OpEx/CAM oversight, and KPI tracking.

Leading lease negotiations within defined approval limits.

Coordinating and overseeing external service providers such as property management, brokerage, and legal partners.

Supporting investment decisions through ongoing portfolio analysis, identification of value‑enhancement potential, and participation in due diligence.

Ensuring accurate property documentation, including compliance records, inspection reports, permits, and lease abstracts.

Supporting cross‑functional collaboration with internal teams and clients (e.g., Fund Management, Transactions, Finance, Legal, ESG, IT).

Building and maintaining a strong market network and monitoring U.S. regional real estate trends.

Contributing to the implementation of sustainable and digital building technologies.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate, economics, or a related field; advanced real estate qualifications are a plus.

At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in asset management or commercial real estate.

Strong understanding of commercial real estate leasing structures, investment metrics, OpEx and CAPEX metrics and property operations.

Proven ability to coordinate external service providers and manage multiple stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills, communication strengths, and a professional, proactive work style.

Fluent in English; German is a plus
