Asset Optimization and Planning Specialist

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related fields,
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Turkish Power Market (preferably in production planning departmant),
• Knowledge of Turkish Power Market Regulations,
• Experience in optimization and dispatch of natural gas, hydroelectric and wind power plants,
• Fluency in written and spoken English,
• Advanced level of knowledge in MS Office software, preferably knowledge in Azure, PowerBI or PI software,
• Strong teamworking and critical thinking skills.

Job Description

• Performing short-term optimization trading strategies (Day Ahead, Intraday and Balancing Power Markets) in coordination with production department and analysing P&L,
• Keep tracking of new legislations and regulations related with the Turkish Power market,
• Conducting agreement processes and correspondence with both public and private sector companies (EPDK, TEİAŞ, EPİAŞ, BOTAŞ & others),
• Participating in portfolio asset optimization activities,
• Control of EPİAŞ Monthly Settlement Process,
