Handi Ramp / Handi Products is seeking an Asset Recovery and Resale Specialist to identify, evaluate, and sell surplus, obsolete, or underutilized equipment, materials, and inventory from our Kenosha, WI, Denton, NC and Glendale, AZ locations.

This role is responsible for converting idle assets—including equipment, raw materials, fabrication byproducts, customer trailers, displays, and other available inventory—into revenue by connecting products with the right buyers through a variety of resale channels.

This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on, resourceful, and entrepreneurial individual who is comfortable working in a less structured environment where initiative, creativity, and ownership drive success.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and evaluate surplus, obsolete, or underutilized equipment, materials, and inventory across operations
  • Work onsite in Kenosha to assess inventory and coordinate with Production, Purchasing, and Engineering teams
  • Determine resale potential and strategy based on market value compared to scrap value
  • Develop and execute strategies to market and sell inventory through various channels
  • Create and manage listings on platforms such as eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and industrial auction sites
  • Take photos and prepare accurate, detailed descriptions for listings
  • Reach out to potential buyers, including businesses, dealers, and individual customers
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to maximize value and move inventory effectively
  • Coordinate logistics including staging, packaging, shipping, or customer pickup
  • Track sales activity, revenue generated, and value recovered above scrap baseline

What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrated experience selling through online marketplaces, auctions, or resale platforms such as eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or similar
  • Proven ability to price, list, and successfully sell items
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close transactions and maximize value
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment and materials preferred
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple listings, inquiries, and priorities
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Resourceful and creative in identifying opportunities and moving inventory effectively
  • Comfortable working in a less structured, evolving role
