Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Teacher will be responsible for assisting the lead toddler teacher implement in engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and promoting positive behavior among students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards.
- Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, and physical education.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports childhood development.
- Manage classroom activities effectively while ensuring the well-being of each child.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to address challenges and promote positive interactions.
- Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention strategies.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress and classroom activities.
- Conduct assessments and standardized testing to evaluate student learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
- H.S Dipolma or an A.S or B.A in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective teaching methodologies.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Experience in behavior management and classroom management techniques.
- Understanding of child welfare regulations and best practices in childcare settings.
- Previous experience in tutoring or providing individualized instruction is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.64 - $17.10 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
