Polychem Middle East LLC is a leading industrial and manufacturing company in the UAE, delivering high-quality products and services to major sectors across the region. We are currently looking for a dedicated Assistant Accountant to support our finance operations in Ajman.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions and updating ledgers.
- Support in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and customer accounts.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments for payment follow-ups and clarifications.
- Support the Accountant/Finance Manager in preparing financial reports.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist with VAT calculations, filing, and related documentation as per UAE regulations.
- Perform other finance and administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (BCom) is mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
- Experience in handling stock reports ( Preferred )
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with accounting software (Tally/ERP/QuickBooks or similar).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
