Assistant Accountant REQUIRED FOR SHIPPING SERVICES

DUTIES TO BE PERFORMED

should have atleast 1-2 yrs of accounting knowledge

Shipping experience would be beneficial

Daily bank and cash book to be updated manually and in the software

-debtors and creditors data should be up to date

-should be able to prepare monthly profit and loss & balance sheet

-Should prepare debtors' invoice daily

should complete all the transactions daily

should follow up with customers for collection of funds

- should keep good control in over all accounts

- weekly bank reconciliation should be done

- The daily report should be send to the MD

- should be able to generate monthly profit and loss & balance sheet

- should be able to file vat return & corporate tax return

The job timings are from 9.00 am to 7.00pm - 1 hour lunch break .

all other account related jobs should be performed; if required, other office duties has to be performed
