Assistant Accountant

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant / Accountant to join our team immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update inventory records.
  • Handle sales and purchase invoices accurately.
  • Perform client and vendor account reconciliations.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations.
  • Manage petty cash transactions and records.
  • Maintain employee records and related documentation.
  • Assist the reception team when required.
  • Ensure proper filing and maintenance of all accounting and administrative documents.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
  • Experience working with:
  • Zoho Books,
  • Sage 50
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • accounting: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
