Assistant Accountant and Office Assistance

Pakistan

We are looking for a diligent and Assistant Accountant with a minimum of two years of experience who can also handle general office assistance duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the accounting department in various capacities while ensuring the smooth operation of the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting Duties:
  • Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintain and update accounting records and files.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Assist in preparing for audits.
  • Office Assistance:
  • Perform general office duties such as helping HR, managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Assist with filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Support other departments with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Inter/BCOM or equivalent required.
  • B-COM or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience as an assistant accountant or in a similar role.
  • Extensive experience with QuickBooks, including advanced features and functionalities.
  • Experience with bookkeeping and accounting procedures.
  • Experience in an administrative or office assistant role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
