Tax Responsibilities of an Assistant Accountant

An Assistant Accountant supports the finance team and senior accountants by preparing, , and assisting with tax-related work,

• Maintain accurate tax records and schedules
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and internal controls
• Track tax filing deadlines
• Respond to basic tax authority queries
• Strong Excel skills
• Understanding of tax legislation (basic–intermediate)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
