Job Description

The Department of Accounting & Finance at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals invites applications for faculty positions in the following areas:

• Accounting:
  • Financial Accounting
  • Accounting analytics
• Finance:
  • Energy and Green Finance
• Economics:
  • Public Economics
  • Labor Economics

Job Responsibilities

Candidates will be expected to engage in high quality research/scholarly activities, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, advise and mentor students, supervise MS and PhD theses/dissertations, and develop funded research programs appropriate to their field of specialization. They will also participate effectively in executive education programs and other professional activities. The successful candidate should demonstrate a strong commitment to quality education and student interaction.

• Two year renewable contract.

Qualifications

Applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree (or near completion) in the relevant field from an internationally recognized university with a strong academic background. The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate potential in designing and teaching courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, and have the ability to produce and publish high quality research. Selection will be based on potential for publications in reputable journals. For associate and full professor ranks, a proven record of publications in reputable journals is further required.
