JOB OVERVIEW

32 Degrees is seeking an Assistant Graphic Designer / Photo Retouchers to join its team. The candidate should be a team player with a positive attitude, contribute to dynamic group discussions, and thrive in creative collaboration as well as meeting individual design goals. The candidate should be very comfortable with working in a fast-paced, highly creative environment with multiple deadlines, and is always seeking to grow and learn as a designer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Stay up to date with trends and market standards and integrate them into design concepts.
• Own design and development of identity packages (PDQ box/actual mock-ups, dielines, gift boxes) and trims (hangtag/label) from research/concept to production.
• Follow direction in multiple projects with tight time management skills.
• Responsible for the timely creation of package design solutions and photo editing/retouching.
• Create effective and energetic design solutions.
• Generate ideas and concepts for the fashion industry.
• Create and maintain concept and presentation boards.
• Work collaboratively with fellow designers and related departments.
• Work closely/cross-functionally & effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Arts, Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or related discipline OR equivalent working portfolio experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in graphic design or related design work experience for cosmetic, accessories &/or apparel market.
• Expert knowledge in Adobe Design Software (Photoshop, Illustrator) is required: photo retouching / color correcting / strong eye for detail.
• Strong sense of package construction and production skills with an understanding of layout principles, color theory, typography, style, etc.
• Familiarity with preparing and delivering files for production/in-depth knowledge of print-ready artwork production.
• Strong verbal communication skills; detail-oriented, well organized, and able to manage multiple schedules and deadlines across different project/production timelines.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment.
