The Missouri Attorney General's Office is looking for current third-year law students with excellent credentials who are interested in making a difference in the State to join our Class of 2026. Class members start with other newly-barred attorneys in August following graduation and receive specialized training and individualized mentorship. Placement of new attorneys is based on both need and preference. New attorney positions may be in any of our five offices (Jefferson City, St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, and Cape Girardeau) based on office need with the majority of Class placements located in Jefferson City.
Preferred experience/skills:
Health, vision, dental, and life insurance plans, state pension, and deferred compensation available. Potential eligibility for federal student loan forgiveness.
All candidates must agree to spend a minimum of two years at the Attorney General's Office and the position is contingent upon candidates obtaining a Missouri law license.
Starting salary is $70,000.
