Job Overview
We are seeking a Bookkeeping Assistant who can support the Full-Charge Bookkeeper at a nationally-known literary agency, which conducts business domestically and internationally.
Must be detail-oriented, proactive, take direction well, and work quickly and efficiently in a small, fast-paced office environment. Must have a good understanding of basic accounting, have experience creating monthly financial statements, proficiency in Quickbooks Online, Excel, and Word (experience with Airtable is a plus), and be able to meet tight deadlines.
Interest in and/or knowledge of book publishing is a major plus.
This position will report to both the Bookkeeper and President of the company (and/or the Agency Director).
This is an in-person, full-time job (no remote option), located in Del Mar, CA.
Salary level based upon experience.
